Governors' Budget Amendments

Virginia's unique restriction on Governors serving consecutive terms, combined with a biennial budget cycle, means a Governor only gets one chance to propose a budget they will be responsible for implementing. This happens two years into the Governor's term.

Governor Youngkin has proposed more amendments to the mid-term budget than any of his predecessors in the last 24 years.
